Silverbrook offers a home-like environment with 24/7 trained staff, assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and transportation to medical appointments. We focus on personalized care while encouraging independence.
Residents must be mobile, able to self-evacuate, and not require ongoing nursing or rehabilitative care. We ensure each resident’s needs align with the level of care we provide before admission.
Before moving in, a one-time, non-refundable registration fee is required. Additionally, there is a monthly fee for residency, which may be adjusted with a 30-day written notice to the resident and/or their legal representative.
Your monthly fee covers room and board, meals, housekeeping, laundry, scheduled transportation, social activities, and 24-hour supervision by trained staff.
Yes! Residents can bring furniture and personal belongings, as long as they fit reasonably within their room and do not pose safety risks.
Family and friends are welcome to visit during reasonable hours, just like in any private home. Visitors must respect house rules and staff members to maintain a peaceful environment.
No. Silverbrook is a non-smoking facility.
If a resident’s health needs exceed what we can provide, we will work with families to find a suitable care facility and assist with the transition.
Staff members provide oversight, reminders, and assistance with medications. All medications must come pre-packaged from our designated pharmacy.
Residents are responsible for their full monthly payment even if they are away. If a resident is hospitalized, their room will be held as long as fees continue to be paid.
We provide transportation for up to four medical or dental appointments per month at no additional cost. Extra trips are available for an additional fee.
We serve three home-cooked meals daily, plus snacks. Special dietary needs are accommodated as much as possible, and menu alternatives are available upon request.
A 30-day written notice is required before vacating. Refunds for monthly fees are not issued. If belongings are not removed within 15 days, they become property of Silverbrook.
